The role of CDD analyst will be as below
1 Ensure CDD review of documents risk assessment screening preparation of CDD forms are done in line with Compliance and CIB guidelines within minimum engagement from Business teams
2 Prepare the full CDD assessment for onward submission to the approverreviewer
3 They will be responsible for specific portfolios within CIB
4 Coordinate with Compliance OPC ARC and RMC where required
5 Will be the first point of contact for any issuesescalations from the customerRM
6 Portfolio will be assigned to cover both CB and FIG to each analyst
7 Each analyst will be working primarily on a specific type of reviewa onboardingnew to bankb triggerperiodic review

Job Purpose:

The Incumbent is responsible for promoting and embedding a compliance culture in Wholesale Banking, though the creation and roll-out of policies, procedures, monitoring, training and the required compliance systems. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring proper Compliance assessments of new Wholesale Banking products and services and ongoing advice in terms of regulatory, AML and compliance requirements.

Main Task:

Developing, reviewing and maintaining Wholesale Banking compliance policies and procedures.

Timely and accurate reviews and advice relating to products, services, policies and regulatory requirements.

Monitoring of the unit against regulatory requirements, best practice and internal compliance requirements.

Identification of compliance breaches of weakness and escalation and reporting of these.

Maintain the WB breaches register.

Developing, reviewing and maintaining of AML and Sanctions policies and procedures.

Ensuring UAE Central Bank instructions are acted upon in a timely manner and followed up as required.

Proving professional, accurate and consistent AML guidance, reviews and advice as well as comprehensive High Risk Account reviews (including PEPs).

Functioning as compliance advisor to the Wholesale Banking unit by guiding and advising management and staff on regulatory and AML related matters, including sanctions.

Delivery of effective training session guidance and updates to increase compliance awareness and understanding across the Wholesale Banking unit.

Supporting the Head of Wholesale Banking Compliance with Wholesale Banking Compliance projects including, but not limited to, FATCA, Sections, KYC rectifications and Customer Screening.

Providing assistance to the Head of Wholesale Banking Compliance for various ad hoc compliance matters and projects.

The incumbent will have a degree education as minimum and relevant AML/ Compliance qualification from an internationally recognized body.

Qualification as a Lawyer or Charted accountant

Professional certification in Compliance, AML or Risk.

The Incumbent will have at least 6years of banking experience in a recognized regulated market, of which at least 3years must be in senior Compliance/ AML roles.
